Cobble Poundstone. Actually, a lot of the Old Ascalon boss names.
Or Rogue, followed by Rogue Elementalist. One uses 'Rogue' as a noun, the other uses it as an adjective. It's like 'zomg anet pwned the english language'.

Crush Kill. I don't know if Anet was being uncreative here or just plain lazy when coming up with this name LOL.

Not monster name, but:
Monk. In other games, monks are uber bare-handed melee fighters. Our monk should be called a cleric. Even Urban Dictionary agrees.
2. cleric
a holy priest specializing in healing magic and wards against the undead - devoted to helping others
that cleric just ressurected zaven

Non-boss names:
Life Pod - supposed to be a bit of a twist, but instead sounds like something out of Star Wars
River Skale Tad - WTF is a Tad? Tadpole? Why not just say "Cutesy Wootsey Itty Bitty Skale?"
Rockshot Devourer - Okay, I get these are in the desert, but what is a Rockshot? Sounds like something from American Idol or what David used to defeat Goliath.
Rogue Bull - watch out...it's a bull with a leather jacket on!!! He's a rebel!!!

not certain here but i always find "Kekona Pippip" amusing... Other than that "stone elemental" is pretty unimaginative... hehe. or the bosses that are just called "Mursaat Elementalist" etc.

Boss names in general are simliar like the stone summit for example all have something in common with rocks (its a clan thing I think). The gnrawl names end with two repeating words normallly as their tribal/clan boss names.

I agree with the grawl ones, everytime I've started a character I thought those were really lame... Daboo DimDim, and some of the mesmer bosses really have stupid sounding names, makes me wonder, what exactly do they really plan to do to me in battle? I remember one however, in the southern shiverpeaks that sounded kind of sexual or something, forgot the name though, but after beating it, I was thinking, "Ya, what exactly was THAT suppose to mean?" was he gonna smash me then squirt me or something?
